Military students at Fort Huachuca and Davis Monthan AFB are often on TDY (Temporary Duty) orders anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months. The usual choice of residence for the military student is at the Sierra Vista local hotel / motel without even being aware of alternative solutions to such "extended stays". Here at Fort Huachuca and the surrounding community of Sierra Vista, there are several great hotel properties one can find a room for their nightly Domestic GSA Per Diem Rates, but at TDYme, the military student can find lodging in the form of a private residence with all the luxuries of home.
Hotels may provide a source of convenience but this may come at the cost of force protection. Many hotel properties, especially those located in small towns like Sierra Vista, offer very little if any at all, security and other force protection measures designed to keep the soldier safe.
At TDYme, we offer properties that organically inherit force protection measures not associated with a high value target. Vehicles can be garaged limiting tampering and exposure while open parking lots reveal user identity and unknown personnel are the norm.
